Tag der Raumfahrt (“Day of Space Travel”) is an annual event across Germany where various organisations and institutions open their doors to the public and provide a deeper insight into space exploration and technology. On this day, institutions like ESA, DLR, or TU Darmstadt will showcase their space-related projects, allowing visitors to experience space science up close.

Serco Services GmbH presents their cooperation with TU Darmstadt:

Event Highlights:

• Presentations by students of TU Darmstadt: The students will be presenting their space-related projects, including TRACE, a CubeSat sponsored by Serco.
• Cubesat and rocket models on display: The student association TU Darmstadt Space Technology (TUDSaT) will be showcasing their TRACE CubeSat, designed for educational purposes and supported by the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). This CubeSat, set for launch in mid-2025, aims to demonstrate cutting-edge space technology. Additionally, there will be a presentation on its collaborative project with the Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research (GSI).
